Before You Begin

Make sure you have the following ready:

• A KuCoin account (identity verification completed)
• At least 100 USDT in your KuCoin account
• A LendPace account with an active subscription plan

Step 1: Create an API Key on KuCoin

1. Log in to your KuCoin account.
2. Click your avatar in the top-right corner, then select API Management.
3. Click "Create API" and choose "API Trading."
4. Set an API name (e.g., LendPace Bot).
5. Set a passphrase — this is important; you will need it in the next step. Save it somewhere secure.
6. Complete email and two-factor authentication verification.

Permission Settings (Critical Step)

You only need to enable two permissions:

Once created, copy three things:

• API Key
• API Secret (displayed only once!)
• The passphrase you just set

Step 2: Add Your KuCoin API Key in LendPace

1. Log in to LendPace and navigate to the Settings page.
2. In the "Exchange API Keys" section, click Add API Key.
3. Select KuCoin as the exchange.
4. Enter the API Key, API Secret, and Passphrase you copied earlier.
5. Click Save.

After saving, click Test Connection to verify everything works. If the test succeeds, your API key is correctly configured with the right permissions.

Step 3: Activate the KuCoin Lending Bot

1. On the Settings page, scroll down to the "Lending Bots" section.
2. Click the KuCoin tab to switch to the KuCoin bot view.
3. You will see a USDT bot card — the system creates it for you automatically.
4. Choose your strategy:
   • High Yield — the IBRR algorithm dynamically optimizes rates for maximum returns.
   • Quick Fill — prioritizes getting your funds lent out quickly, suited for a more conservative approach.
5. Flip the toggle — the bot starts running immediately.

What Happens After Activation?

Once the bot is running, it will:

1. Check your KuCoin balance — confirm you have enough USDT (at least 100).
2. Analyze market rates — use the IBRR algorithm to identify the optimal current rate.
3. Auto-subscribe to lending — place your USDT into the lending pool at the best available rate.
4. Continuously monitor — when each lending period expires, automatically roll over into a new subscription so your funds never sit idle.

The entire process is fully automated. You do not need to take any further action.

Track Your Earnings on the Dashboard

Switch to the Dashboard page to see:

• Bot status — the running state and current strategy of your KuCoin USDT bot.
• Live rates — the current KuCoin USDT market lending rate.
• Earnings history — on the Earnings page, filter by exchange to view your KuCoin lending returns separately.

Can I use KuCoin and Bitfinex lending at the same time?

Yes. LendPace supports managing bots on both exchanges simultaneously. You can run Bitfinex for USD lending and KuCoin for USDT lending — they operate independently.

What is the minimum amount to get started?

100 USDT. Below this threshold, the bot will notify you that your balance is insufficient.

Can I stop at any time?

Yes. Toggle the bot off on the Settings page. Any active lending positions will be redeemed at maturity and will not be re-subscribed.

What if I forget my passphrase?

KuCoin passphrases cannot be retrieved once set. You will need to delete the API key and create a new one. We recommend using a password manager to store it.
